Royal Decameron Complex?

Recommended Posts

We are thinking of having our wedding at the Royal Decameron Complex in January 2012 or maybe just having our guests stay there. I have been looking for information about it but all the reviews seem to be older. Does anyone have any recent experiences there or with vendors in the area?

So i am also already booked to get married there in January. We will be going down on the 21 and staying until the 4Th. So far i know of alot of people who have been there recently and absolutely love it. Ive already been in contact with the wedding planner and have pictures of what kind of set-ups they have available for receptions and so on. everything looks wonderful, and the wedding planner is so helpful he is super quick to answer any of my questions. From what i have heard they have recently done a number of renovations on the resort and added a whole new room block that is amazing according to my aunt. Everyone at the resort is super helpful and its a beautiful resort. It is also HUGE, there are 6 room blocks and over 7 different restaurants of various types. Also you are a 5 min walk out of buccarais, which has alot of shopping and cute things to do. There are also alot of tours and fun things to do off resort in the area.

Hello,

My daughter recently got engaged, and she would like to get married (actually, probably the ceremony, with the legal stuff done here in the states) in the Puerto Vallarta area in November 2012, since we'll have our immediate family together down there anyway.  Since she's a full time graduate student, she has asked me to do the research (which I enjoy anyway).

We have stayed at the Royal Decameron before, and we really enjoyed it, so she thought this might be a lovely place for her ceremony.  I have sent a couple of emails asking for information (one to the main Decameron email, and one to the Royal Puerto Vallarta email address.  I tried to send one to Patrick Leger, who I understood to be the wedding coordinator, but the email bounced.  I haven't gotten any replies, so I don't have any information on weddings there.

Does anybody have any information they care to share, or at least a current email address of someone who will respond?

Thanks!

Claudio from Royal Decameron did eventually get in touch with us, and the costs are VERY reasonable!

We are working with Babs from Wright Travel, and she is getting us a stellar deal on the rooms!  The bride and groom should be signing a contract in the next week or two for $60 per person per day for a block of rooms.  Amazing!!

If anybody has reviews or pictures of a RDC wedding (I did read the one in reviews, lovely!), we would be thrilled to look.

Hey! So I just wanted to say I have been to a wedding at the royal Decameron an it was beautiful!! It was 4 years ago however so things are probably a bit different. Just wanted to post that my wedding date is nov 12, 2012 We are having beach ceremony, cocktail hr, reception with dj/dance floor, Fire works, photography/videography, extra flowers and chair ties. Total cost is approx 4100$$$( this is the cost of wedding not including and travel/stay) I hope this helps people looking for different prices! You can do it for much cheaper but we added all the bells and whistles.N

Hi nikole2012 Thanks for the price quote! That is helpful! I will be getting married there this Aug 2012! I have a few questions to ask you like where did you have your first dance and if there was music for the ceremony when you walk down the aisle. Also can I see a few pics? Thanks again. • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
