I found wedding invitation hunting so difficult.  Here is one I fell in LOVE with by SimplYouDesign on Etsy.com, but had to pick a similar but less expensive option (same coral and teal on white, no teal pocketfold) on invitations.com:

Before we decided against invites, these are what they were. Since most of our family and friends were already booked for our wedding in Jamaica we decided to not send out invites.

So what I did was I took the actual invite and turned it into a thank you letter. Then the inserts on the right side will be the daily activities. So they will be labeled Thursday, Sept. 8th, Friday, Sept. 9th, and Wedding Day. Each insert will just have important info about that day, like what excursion we are doing time for the wedding, etc. I couldn't pass up on using these in some way, they are just too gorgeous.

They will be sitting on the bed with the welcome bags for each guest.

With us choosing a destination wedding, we knew that our grandparents would not be able to attend, along with some other very important family members. Having said that we decided to do something a little different when it comes to our invitations, as we wanted those special people to have a nice keepsake.. so we went with the message in a bottle invitations.. and we don't regret it at all.. They are SOOO awesome! and everyone has LOVED them!! and most people that received one had never seen them before.

Below is a photo of them :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
