Not having any luck with wedding planner at GBP Runaway Bay

Hey Ladies! We have confirmed our wedding date at the Gran Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay and are super excited! Theonly problem is, other than that I can't seem to get anything accomplished. No one has sent me any information on the process and I don't even have any information on wedding packages, flowers, services, etc. Anyone have any suggestions for me? I am so frustrated sending email after email no t to get any response.

I'm sorry you are having a hard time.  I know this time of year is the busiest for destination weddings so maybe thats what is taking so long for a reply.  As soon as we booked our date we received wedding packages from the wedding coordinator.  I would try emailing them again and if you get no response then try calling them!

I once waited 2 months & 3 emails before getting a reply at GBP, unfortunately they are just so busy and on "Jamaica time" so they aren't fast at replying to emails.  What usually works for me is if I resend the email with "2nd Attempt, or NEED RESPONSE ASAP" in the subject line...seems a little ridiculous but it works!  Good luck!  All the waiting is definitely worth it :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
