Yay Karla glad you liked the Angel Chicken! I think it's a pretty versatile recipe. We change it up with different veggies.

Julie, I missed your mac and cheese post from a while ago. Definitely need to try that! Sounds delicious!!

This is our "go-to" crock pot recipe, since it takes about 10 seconds to prepare:

Salsa Chicken

5-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut in half

1 package taco seasoning (I always use "low sodium" kind)

1 can condensed mushroom soup

1 cup salsa

1/2 cup sour cream (I use fat free and it still works/tastes good)

Put chicken in crock pot. Sprinkle taco seasoning over chicken. Pour/scoop out can of mushroom soup and cup of salsa over chicken. Stir. Cook on low for 5-7 hours. When it's done, mix in the sour cream. Serve over rice (it tastes good over coconut rice, if you like coconut rice). Yummy!

Everyone we've ever made this for has loved it!

Angel Chicken

1 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

1/4 cup butter

1 (.7 ounce) package dry Italian-style salad dressing mix

1/2 cup white wine

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed golden mushroom soup

4 ounces cream cheese with chives or veggies

1 pound angel hair pasta

Fresh chives

Melt the butter over medium heat. Add the packet of dry Italian style salad dressing mix and cook for a minute. Add in the white wine, golden mushroom soup, cream cheese and cook until melted and combined. Place chicken breasts in the crock pot and cover with sauce. Cook on low 4-5 hours. Serve with angel hair pasta and fresh chives.

**Sometimes I add olives, mushrooms, onions, or whatever we're feeling like that particular day. The sauce is soooooo yummy! Make sure to have lots of bread with your meal to soak it up!

I made this on the weekend and it was delicious!! Thanks for the recipe!!

Cranberry Pork

take one 1 - 1 1/2 pounds (more or less) roast pork or loin pork roast

one envelope of onion soup mix

one can of cranberry sauce (jellied) - sliced

1. put the envelope of onion soup mix on the bottom of the crock pot

2. put the pork roast on top of the soup mix

3. put the cranberry sauce slices on top of the pork

4. roast for however long or short you like, it really doesn't matter as the pork cooks fully at any setting.

once the crock pot goes to warm or shuts off, remove pork roast and shred with a fork when cool enough to handle.  I like to put some of the remaining "gravy" from the bottom of the crockpot and put over the pork.

it's that easy!!

I LOVE the crockpot! What is better than just throwing things into it and coming home to dinner already cooked! The BEST!

I love to make pot roast!

1   5-6 Pot roast

4   Red potatos

4   Carrots

2   Celery Stalk

2   Cans Cream of Mushroom

1   Package dry onion soup mix

1   Can chicken broth

Cut up carrots, celery and potatoes into chunks (the size of your choosing.. my husband likes big chunks, not little slices)

Put pot roast into crock pot

Place carrots and whatnot around the roast

Pour chicken broth, cream of mushroom and dry onion soup into a bowl and stir together

Pour over roast

Cook on low for 7 hours

I usually serve over rice with warm bread! YUM!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
