So my OOT bags are OFFICIALLY done! And, they are packed and ready to go! I put everything into 1 suitcase and it weighs 49 pounds on the button! I put a lot of my stuff in those bags where you suck the air out of them which seemed to free up a lot of space, but it really stinks that 1 whole suitcase is just "stuff." I am determined to pack light- In reality I only need 6 outfits and bathing suits, right?

I picked my dress up this past weekend, but I am going to do some last minute clothing shopping and I totally forgot until I read an previous post but I too need sand holders. I have the frame but now I need to find some cute vases. I did, several weeks back, look at Michaels and AC Moore but didn't see anything fun. Anyone else have any ideas on where to find something like this?

I'm so excited...9 days until I leave and how exciting for the other girls who have already left. I can't wait to hear back from them.

Whew, one less thing to do! We need to weigh ours...we have ENTIRELY TOO much stuff in our OOT bag suitcase. Im an overpacker.  I have like 7 swimsuits, 4 pairs of shorts, 4 tops, swimsuit coverups, like 6 pairs of shoes.  I dont know WHY I packed so much stuff...but you never know...I brought a lot of, "just in case" stuff.

While I was packing these were my thoughts:

  • I need an outfit to greet everyone when the bulk of the group arrives,
  • I need a dress for our welcome dinner
  • I need a dress for the rehearsal dinner
  • I need a comfy pair of clothes for sports centered activities (we're very active and competitive, so we planned on doing a day of volleyball, tennis, water volleyball and the like)
  • I need something to wear in case we go on any excursions
  • I need something cute to wear in case my family wants to go to the resort club
  • Something to wear to the casino
  • etc, etc, etc

I clearly OVERthought my packing! LOL!

OMG you are so cute!  You sound just like me!  I am the SAME WAY!  I always over pack!  You need CLOTHES CHOICES!!!

My wedding is 14 months away & I am already stressing about packing for myself let alone all the favors, OOT bags, etc.

You will make it all happen!  :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
