Can I see your groom's attire?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I have been leaning towards having my FI and groomsmen in khaki style pants and white shirts, but am not sure if I should have FI in something different than the rest of the men? What is everyone else doing?

Hey mbowling,

My fiance (now husband) wore a tan suit, while his groomsmen wore khakis and white shirts. Here are a few pics for you.

We haven't completely decided but I think we will do something like this.

Thanks ladies. I think it was also easier to ensure they got the same clothing. The groomsmens clothes were from the Gap and RW &Co, so after they had met once to agree on the fit, all we had to do was make sure they all had the right item numbers for each item and they could pick up the shirt and pants on their own.

I've been grappling with this. The groomsmen will all be in the same attire as the groom and I agree it would be nice to have a little difference. They will all be in tan linen pants and white linen shirts. I thought about having them wear different color boutoniere but our florist said not to do them period because they droop on linen. So now we're thinking the GMs will roll up their sleeves and groom wear down. Groom doesn't care - he's like everyone knows who I am.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
