Hi all future Dreams Los Cabos brides... Matt and i just had our wedding there on June 22, 2009 and it was absolutely beautiful! We worked with Yarai (WC), marTin Zuckerman - Photographer (www.unikphoto.com) and Marci & Enrique (Baja Video Productions) and everything went better than expected and we had a great time! The resort was absolutely beautiful and everyone was fantastic to work with. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about our experience there.

Hi Jess! I have 50 people attending so we decided to have our reception at the Oceana Terrace. Oceana Terrace is an area by the side pool and can accomodate 20-80 people.

We're using the Oceana Terrace. We'll likely have around 65 guests.

Hi Jess,

I have been working with Yarai (our WC) on this for a bit and the policy is not really cut and dry. The day pass fee depends on the vendor and what your WC and the vendor work out. In our case we worked out a deal with our WC and the vendor, or in other cases, the vendor deals with it. Either way it has worked out for us.

If you want more specific information please dont hesitate to PM me.

I just had our wedding at Dreams in April and wse didn't have to pay any vendor fee, or get them a vendor pass. All the vendors actually even came on site at the hotel for the pre-wedding meetings a few days before and again they didn't have to pay.

Also, one of my friends is getting married there next spring (2010) and when we were in Cabo in April we specifically asked them whether or not next year anything like that would be changed since they were also implementing the "preferred vendor list" and Mariana told us NO.

Hi,

I haven't been on here in awhile, I work for a cruise line and have been out of the country for the past months.

I am getting married at Dreams 9.9.9 almost 2 months from now...

Getting a little over whelmed with everything, but looking forward to it all!

So it looks like just when I thought I was done planning my own wedding....I have to start planning my friend Jasmine's wedding...at Dreams Cabo for April 7, 2010. lol! She's pretty stressed and overwhelmed with it all (as I was too during the planning), so I'm going to plan it for her cheesy.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
