I'd love to see your site visit pics!!! We are STILL trying to decide between the Riu and Dreams for our wedding July 2010. We have been to the Riu and loved it but based on wedding reviews, Dreams sounds better. However, the pictures I've seen of the grounds of Dreams don't look as nice as the Riu. So many decisions, but pictures are worth a thousand words!!!

Looking forward to seeing the pics!

It's really a hard decision to make. I was going crazy at first cause you have so many decisions to make, and many things to consider. It was so overwhelming but this site really helped in making those decisions!!

      Thank you for your help!
      Few more questions;
*Has anyone ever done a "signature drink" at Dreams before?
*Have any previous brides used a slide show during their reception?
*Any ideas for a welcome party (no food, just drinks/entertainment)
*Can anyone recommend a good minister?

      Thank you!

We are having a bonfire for our welcome reception instead of a dinner. We have been in touch with Marco Arechiga [marco@loscabostoday.com] who was highly recommended to us for the service. He has been wonderful in our communication through email and is personalizing the service to our personalities.

I have seen ladies before so Signature drinks yes! I am assuming you can set something up with the WC there, they might have ideas from the past or you can provide them with one too.

They have screens you can rent to show pictures during the reception yes! I do not know what the price of it is though.

Ladies in the past have done a poker party, bonfire, those might be things you can look into!

Hope that helps a little bit!

            Hello to everybody....

I just wanted to ask a moderator to get me off the "Dream's bides '09", since I changed locations and my wedding now will be at the Club Campestre San Jose Beach Club...

            Happy planning,

            Claus

Tammy, your dress is gorgeous! Its pretty much exactly what ive been looking for. Its so delicate for a beach wedding...it looks like there's a glow around you. All of the dresses i seem to find are heavy and too formal.

And call me stupid but what are OOT bags? I know they are bags for the guest or bridal party but what does it stand for?

OOT statnds for out of town bags. traditionally gifts for those who travel from out of town for traditional weddings. For DW's (destination wedding's) all th peeps are from out of town so they can also be like welcome bags.

are you having the welcome bonfire at Dreams? My fiance and I wanted to do that until we saw a photo of a previous bonfire there. It was a mexican fireplace, we wanted something like a real bonfire that our guests could sit around.
