Seriously, Mariana is usually really, really good about replying, but the last 2 months or so I've had a lot of trouble. It's not just her though, name a vendor (thankfully with the execption of my lovely TA, Tammy!) and I can't get a response. I have been having the same problem and its making me soooo nervous! I understand your frustration.

I have been having the same problem too. It really sucks but I dont see it changing until at least the summer. I think the vendors are probably into their busiest season right now. It sucks though. On average it takes me almost a week to get a response from Mariana, She was so nice and so sweet when I met her during my site visit that I can only assume she is up to her neck in wedding crap right now and has not enough time to deal with everything.

Good, hopefully we can meet up at some point. That would definitly be fun.

Of course, after I posted this Mariana and Elsa both emailed me... and within MINUTES of eachother! lol.

 

I understand that it's busy, it's just getting so close and I don't want to have to stress about details once I get there. Everytime Mariana writes back, I can't help but think how great she is... even with delayed responses, she's amazing!

 

And then I guess it's just Elsa, who initially emailed me about payment and then took FOREVER to reply. Boo. I was just having an anger moment! All my vendors have been so amazing, this is pretty much the worst of it, which isn't much at all!! smile124.gif

 

So, we leave in less than three weeks and I'm soooooooo ready. I've packed a stink-load of stuff, including most of my summer clothes since I wouldn't be wearing them now anyways! I'm getting really, really excited to get there, enjoy my time with my family, and have an amazing wedding day! I can't believe it's almost here! Eek!!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
