Hi Ladies!

I am just in the beginning stages of planning. Does anyone know if you can string lanterns over the Cascade Terrace? I've seen it in many pictures of Oceana Terrace but not in Cascade.

Thanks!!

you can over both terraces but it costs extra $$ as they have to have electrician/maintenance person string them up.

I had at mine...it is not as low or intimate as at oceana terrace

Does anyone know how much the charge is to bring a photographer onsite or if there is a minimum they have to stay in order to be considered a guest? We are coming from Vancouver but am thinking of bringing a photographer from California (cheaper travel) and therefore more to spend on the quality of the photographer. Does Dreams charge a minimum 3 night stay or anything in order for us to not pay the external vendor fee (if there is one)? Thanks!

Hey Dreams Brides!

I am in the process of booking DJ Ricardo, and was curious if anyone is going to have their DJ play music during the ceremony or just use a play list? Determining my budget but ore importantly if the music will even be heard while having a ceremony on the beach. Has anyone heard feedback on this?

Thank you!

We had our DJ for the ceremony on the beach too and you can definitely hear it.  They set up huge speakers on the sand.  I've also seen people have live music like a guitar player for the ceremony that sounds nice too.

Oh thank you so much for letting me know! I was just about to PM you too because I noticed you wrote a wonderful review from your wedding. By the way, it was gorgeous! Congrats! Thanks for sharing such great information. I just may be asking you for other questions along the way!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
