Thanks again, Erika. Geez! Hurricanes are $20 each! This stuff adds up quick!

Do either of you know if there is a particular florist Dreams works with?

I am only bring programs, favors and menus, all decor will be thru dreams. I just can't imagine trying to bring anything and all the stress of it breaking or something, and then when I get down there I just want to hang with friends and family, I know I will be resentful if I am running to costco to get stuff done.

I am having my reception at the Cascade Terrace and there will be 25 guests. We are having a DJ but no dance floor...The terrace and Oceania terrace are really nice, and dancing on them wouldn't be much different than actually having a dance floor. I am bringing some flower strand decorations, sand ceremony items, place cards and holders, and programs. Everything else is done through Dreams. They do a good job, and we didn't really want a lot of extra decorations because the resort is already very pretty and elegant. We are having candles on the tables (through Dreams), but no flowers.

We went with the Gold Package and it included almost everything except the DJ, sound system for the ceremony, an extra hour of photography, and the chair ties. I think our total cost is going to be about $4,000...Which isn't too bad for surf and turf and the reception on the ocean.

Wow...I can't believe we are getting married in a week! Time goes by faster than you think wink.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
