Dreams Cabo Brides

I have a question....

My date is booked at Dreams (7/10/09) and I have picked the ceremony spot and reception spot at Dreams. My FMIL is a TA so she basically spoke to the WC at Dreams for me and told the, where I wanted it.

I still have not personally spoken to a WC at Dreams. Is that wierd? Is there something I should be planning right now or discussing with my WC? I actually dont even know who my WC is. smile116.gif What is wrong with me?

I know my wedding is 10 months away, but what else should I be doing?

One more question, are you doing a package with Dreams or are you contracting some of your own vendors?

Thanks so much for your information. I really appreciate it.

Hi Jennifer,

No Teresa doesn't work for Dreams, she actually works with Tammy (host) who is also a TA. I recommend using Tammy, she has been very helpful during this process along with Teresa. They make things so much easier and can answer any questions you may have!!

We haven't decided on whether or not to do a package, we're still trying to weigh our options. We're both kinda picky so we probably will find our own vendors. Hope this helps!!

I'll PM you if you want. Just let me know.
Leia, thank you for all the info about the Dreams' officiant! I wanted to add some Filippino traditional aspects to the ceremony and I was stressing because I didn't know how I was gonna do that if I couldn't get ahold of the officiant before the wedding. But now with all the contact info that you provided I can! Thanks again! cheer2.gif

I would like to know if anyone could pass on John Fagen's email. My wedding is on October 20th at Dreams and making contact with him has not occured yet. My Travel/wedding specialist is trying to help me out but he has not contacted me yet. Everything else is in place for my day......

Thanks

I am doing the Ultimate Package. I've read a lot of reviews and it seems split. I guess it depends what your looking for. I am doing it because I didnt want to do many outside vendors. I hear so many great things about DReams, so why try and change something thats already great. It's definately personal preference.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
