Does anyone know where I can get sparklers outside of Dreams? The resort wants to charge us $5 a piece! seems expensive
You can probably get them at the Walmart in Cabo (either take a taxi from Dreams or jump on the city bus -its only $1 to use it and there is a stop right outside of Walmart). Not sure if they would carry them but if so, its definitely a cheaper option!

Can you not purchase them prior to your wedding and bring them with you?  Not sure if that's considered an "explosive" by the airlines - if you can't bring them with you maybe you can ship them down to Dreams ahead of time?

Just a thought - let me know what you find out - I'd like to do the same thing!  I'm getting married there the weekend after you are! :)

and DANG - $5 per sparkler?  That's a little crazy.

I've tried everything! It's clearly listed as an explosive on all airline websites :( (I know it makes no sense)

I also contacted an awesome vendor I found that claimed on their website that they ship anywhere in the world and I chatted with a rep and he told me they can't ship those to Mexico, he explained to me that they wouldn't ever get passed security at the border.

I'm currently working with Yesica right now and so far she has been great! E-mails have been delayed a bit but my wedding is not planned until 10/2014 so I have a lot of time. But she is super nice and gives you all the information you need. Just thought I'd give feedback. But she's been great. Good Luck and congrats!

Hi ladies! I am getting married on November 9, 2013 at Dreams. I have been working with Mariana, but I have not see much written about her on this thread. It seems as though Yessica is the better wedding coordinator to work with? Please let me know if anyone has any information on Mariana. She seems pretty good, although slow to respond to emails as well. lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
