Need some Help choosing Colors for my centerpieces.... Have the actual centerpiece chosen, just not colors!

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I'm having a tough time choosing colors for my centerpieces.

I love green orchids, white flowers, orange, yellow and fuchsia/hot pink.

The problem is that I don't want to overwhelm the centerpiece.

I've attached a picture of the centerpeice (FLOWERS BAMBOO PIC).

The one pictured is all white but I'm having white linens and I think I should have a pop of color for the centerpieces but don't want to take away from the beauty of them.

I'm getting married on the beach at a small boutique hotel in Negril. My reception is at a large villa called Little Waters on the Cliff (on the property).

I want it to match the surroundings but still be pretty.

I've attached a picture of a bouquet I really love (See Boquet pic) that I was going to use as inspiration for my centerpieces until I saw this one and fell in love. I just think the one I love is too many colors but can't decide what to do!

I'll appreciate any input/help!

Hi Stacey00,

I think your bouquet flowers and colors are really beautiful and vibrant. The multiple colors look good together and don't look too overwhelming. They would be wonderful inspiration for your centerpieces. The bamboo centerpiece is interesting, but I would worry that the bamboo color is a bit dark, especially if your reception is in the evening -- perhaps you can go with a lighter bamboo? Also, the height of the bamboo may make it difficult for guests to see each other at the table?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
