Hi All,

My only comment is to make sure you get a copy of any payments you make for your wedding, print them out and bring them with you.  As you update and make changes, you should have  a revised chart with payments sent to you.  PRINT ALL OF THEM.  My WC didn't have the most up to date, so she didn't see that we had already paid for one of the items she thought we hadn't.  I had heard this from another bride as well. The organization skills of Sandals as a whole is not what most of us are used to, and I'm sure it has to do with so many people being involved. Once you get to the site, your WC will do whatever you want. I had Nickesha and she was great.

GOOD LUCK!!!

I just got married on August 18 at Beaches Negril. You don't need to get a full steel drum band. We had 1 player during the ceremony and he was good and the price was half!

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this site. Im just trying to get feed back. I'm having In May at Beaches Negril.

I'm having about 40 guess so I would be considered a Wedding Group. They giving us a free Rehearsal dinner. Can any one tell me how that is, I just found out they are on the beach but no DJ or anything. What would we do for 2 hours?

Another question I choose the Ultra Package for the Videography, Do you think its worth the 1400 or should I just keep it simple with the 500 dollar package?

Also what about the Bridal Bliss? $280 for trial hair session, make up session, manicure and Pedicure, bridal hairstyling and make up the day of the wedding? Only reason i ask because since i have 10 rooms or more i get a free manicure and pedicure so its kinda pointless to get this package if i get it free already. Then will i really need a trial hair session and make up session they should just be able to do it nice the day of the wedding. Im trying to do as least as possible.

Did any one do the Catamaran Cruise for the reception, I think this a great idea instead of a sit down reception but I heard its knee deep to get in the boat afraid my dress will get wet.

I just got back from my wedding at Beaches, it was perfect in every way!  Better than expected.  Here is a reveiw I wrote on the resort itself

http://steppingintosuburbia.blogspot.com/2013/04/beaches-negril-review.html

I will be writing one soon on the wedding experience.  I had 27 guests (including us.)  We received all the free inclusions including the rehearsal dinner.  We had our rehearsal dinner under the beach hut.  There is no music, you can pay $150 for one hour for their sound system (no DJ.)  That is totally not worth it.  We actually unplugged the radio/ipod player from our room and brought it with us and played our own ipod music and it was enough.  They had no problem with us pulling that out and plugging it in.

I got the free manicure and pedicure.  I paid the $90 for my hair on the day of the wedding.  I did not do a trial.  They are actually really good and quick with the hair at the spa.

We paid for a private reception.  We recieved the free 1 hour cocktail party and paid for a 3 hour reception and added a 3 hour DJ.  It was perfect and just the right amount of time.  Could not have been better.

I was most worried about the pictures b/c I heard they dont touch them up and theyre not very good.  I was expecting pretty bad, and they all were awesome.  The photographer is only with you for 2 hours, we paid for an extra hour to have pics at our reception.  She did all the photographs we wanted, and more.  We paid for the traditional package for $1400 for 110 pics.  We bought an extra 50 for $200 more.  THey all turned out so good and dont even need touching up.

Everyone is SO friendly and accommodating there, it's unreal.  I miss it already!  Our wedding was 4/6/13.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
