Hello all!

I'm a newbie, this is my first post, but I have been reading for a couple of months now. You are all a wealth of  information.

 

I was hoping to find Sunset Jamaica Grande brides, as I am just starting out and really have no information about their weddings. We are booked for the first week in January 2012. There will be approx. 40 ppl coming with us, and I don't know any of the options they have. I'm waiting on email back from the wedding coordinator.

 

Help!

Hopefully someone will respond as I have been searching the forum for information on their weddings as well

 

I am booked to have my wedding there on 8/31/12 and I just joined the forum yesterday. Looking to get from feedback from any other brides to be as well.

Hello all!

 

I am also considering getting married at a Sunset Resort site, but have a hard time deciding between Sunset Beach Resort and Spa in Montego Bay and the Sunset Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios.  I have read great reviews from the Montego Bay site, and I love the covered terrace for a reception.  I heard that the staff is very professional and the site is clean and maintained.  What I like about the Ocho Rios site is the gazebo!! I love how there is a long walk way that leads to the gazebo, which is right by the water. I like the size of the gazebo.  I think I will be 50+ guests attending.  I have heard some mixed reviews about Ocho Rios, however.  And, I have not seen many pictures or information regarding their weddings.  Has anybody been there for a wedding, or visited the site?  I want to hear your thoughts please!  Need to decide soon!

Hello Ladies,

 

I was just wondering if anyone had any helpful information on getting married here, booking, and overall any information? I have been to this resort last year and that's when me and my FH decided that we want to get married here! I'm looking at December 2012, trying to get it booked, but my TA is saying I need a booking number to save the date that we requested to get married on. Were not doing a group booking as we don't think we will have more then 10 people going. Also, the pricing for right now is super high for this time since the travel agencies haven't set anything for this time yet. There still working on Summer I guess. If you have any information on booking or specifics with this resort I would love to hear!

Just wondering for all the brides that have gotten married at Sunset Jamaica Grande, has anyone used the on-site hairdresser? Just wondering if I should book with them or if I should try and do my own hair for the wedding? Wanted to know how your hair turned out and if they were available to do many different styles?

Hi all, I am planning my weddin for august 2012 at sunset jamaica grande, so far i have to say the wedding coordinators havent been communicating as well as i hoped but fingers crossed it will be good. what are you all planning for your receptions?

Hi there!

 

I'm getting married at SJG in November and was wondering if anybody could send me some pictures/more info on what they got with their wedding there.

 

The upgrades are expensive and I'm thinking about passing on them but not if I'm going to be given a completely plain arch and horrible looking chairs for my guests :)

 

Any additional information and/or pictures you could send would be really appreciated.

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
