I am thinking it might be too much. Even if they are matchy matchy girls. I am going to have to think about what to do.

So far I have bought them:

Beach bags

Purses (to wear with BM dress)

Pashmina's

Necklaces

Bracelets

Toe Rings (they are going barefoot for the wedding)

And I want to get T-shirts that say in rhinestones, Bridesmaid, Maid of Honour and Flower girl.

Should I get more? I am not sure. I was thinking I could pay to have their hair done for the wedding as well.

I vote for getting them plain silver studs. Or, if they really want dangly earrings, silver ones of those. I have the Tiffany bead earrings, that I think would look nice. You could probably find a knock-off version of those on ebay or something like it at a mall jewelry store.

I think you definitely have gotten them enough. If you find earrings that aren't too expensive, I'm sure they would appreciate it, but don't go nuts looking for something. You are already a VERY generous bride!

I'll second that last post. I think it's very generous what you already have. I'm sure the bridesmaids will appreciate having their hair costs taken care of especially since they'll be getting their hair done for you. You could buy the starfish earrings and save them for christmas presents. That way they'll get something else several months later.

Well you've already made a good decision but for what it was worth I also think the earrings were too much. They are beautiful but I think you should keep looks simple for weddings and a bracelet, with a necklace, and matching earrings will distract from the beautiful dresses you chose for the girls. I like your plan to keep an eye out for cute earrings and if not to pay for their hair. smile159.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
