Hi Ja143.

I'm getting married April 30th, 2012 at the ROR and we are getting married in the garden gazebo :)  No pics to share yet obviously.  When are you getting married?

Hey! April 28th is our day!

Have you ever been to this resort? the Garden Gazebo is stunning. My only concern is will my guests be able to see us under the Gazebo? lol.  What time are you getting married?

That's super exciting.  I've been talking with a few brides that are getting married or arriving the same time as us!  You just might find me creeping your wedding...lol.  (Just kidding)  I've never been the ROR.  What about you?

I chose the garden bc I want to wear cute shoes without getting all sandy.  My FI brought home pics from a coworker who vacationed there and I saw the set-up of the garden gazebo wedding.  In the pics, it didn't appear to be a problem for the view.  Fingers crossed.  We are getting married at 5pm.  What about you?

hey!

I'm sure you'll be creeping - I mean I did when I went to visit the resort in March! lol Thats what I was there for, to check out the venues and get it all laid out perfectly!

The resort is STUNNING! you will be nothing but pleased. I was very impressed with the up keep of the grounds, the staff was very accomadating and interactive with guests, food was great, entertainment was great. All round good spot.

I'm getting married at 5pm as well. The pond area is shaded at this time which is great because it helps with the heat. And you can hear birds churping which is so sweeeeet. the area is just amazing, much more private option on the resort. I hope you like it as much as I do!

Only we all must pray for other than no rain.......is no wind! In March is was very windy all week. Quite frustrating! But that is the least of our worries I'm sure. :o)

Holy cow!  I just found out my aunt, who was also invited to our wedding, might be getting married on April 28, 2012 also.  I would be attending her wedding, then 2 days later, she would attend mine...hahahaha.  That would also mean she is the same day as your wedding...lol.

I'm so glad to hear your resort reviews.  Neither of us have been to Jamaica, so it's a comfort to know that we won't be disappointed :)  Did you decide if you are doing the garden gazebo or not yet?  I like that it is more private and plus I can wear cute shoes!!  hahaha.

I will pray for no rain or wind while we are there (for your day too),, but you're right, that's the least of our worries.  What else have you done for your day so far?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
