Planning is going well... can't believe it's only 3 months away!!! Crazy!! Still quite a bit to do. But I just received most of my OOT bag contents, my bridesmaid gifts and some other little things like paper umbrellas and fans. I'm starting to wonder how in the world we're going to get all this stuff down there, lol!

We did end up switching the whole wedding to the Jellyfish though, and I'm excited about that. My biggest concern right now is my wedding band... still haven't found one, and my e-ring is very hard to fit a band to. I may have to go with custom and I just don't want to spend the money, haha.

How are is your planning going??

I can't believe how time has flown either!!  This time in 3 months I'll be getting ready to board a plane! Eek!!

We ordered the last of our stuff for the OOT bags and it should be here soon.  I was having a hard time finding a place to order travel mugs from but in the end, we decided to go with Discount Mugs.

I have no idea how we are fitting everything into our luggage either! Lol!!  I wan to start packing now but FI says I should wait until at least the beginning of April....I'm thinking March!

The pictures I have seen of the Jellyfish look amazing!  FI and I went shopping for our wedding bands before Christmas, so there are now sitting in a drawer at home just waiting.

I don't what else to plan.  I guess I will have to pick some must have photography shots and I still have to make some hair flowers for my mom and sister and make flowers for the cake,

Hmm... photography shots, I didn't think about that. I think I'll just trust the photographer to figure that out, haha.

What are you putting in your OOT bags? I got mugs from Discount Mugs as well. Shipping is awful to Canada but I couldn't find anything in that price range here anyway.

Have you figured out gifts for your parents and bridal party? I'm having trouble figuring out gifts for my parents - they are separated so I have to get two gifts... for FIs parents, we are making a photo book of their family.

I have NO idea what to get for our flower girl (1.5 years old), ring bearer (1.5 years old) and junior usher (7 years old). Do you have any children in your party?

It's three months from today for me, ahh can't wait!!!

I want to give our photographer a list of shots we want and show him the style we like.  Our photographer is a friend who is coming down with us.  He does do photography professionally but weddings he doesn't normally do.

In our OOT bags we have the mugs, advil, playing cards, notepads, pens, inflatable coasters (so they can bring the mugs into the pool), hand sanitzer, kleenex, gum and mints.  I think we are done with them finally, just waiting for our last shipment from Oriental Trading.  I agree with you about the mugs.  Could not find anything else I liked and the minimum order quantity with some other sites is huge!!

For parents, we will probably do photobooks.  We are not having a bridal party so, luckily, we don't have to worry about that.  I've seen some other brides on here doing special OOT bags for their bridal party.  Maybe you could something similar for your parents??

We may have one flower girl, she's 7, and we have already gotten some separate things to go into her OOT bag.  For your 7 yr old, does he have a favorite game or character?  Those are tough!!  I find girls much easier to shop for since I get things that I wanted when I was little! Lol!!

Can't believe we are getting soo close!!  Getting more excited by the day.  Only a few small things left to check off the list.  My bachelorette party is the weekend and I have no idea what is planned for me.  Should be interesting!!

How is everything with you?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
