I thought her dress was beautiful and I was excited to see a sleeved dress only because it might give more options to someone like me who doesn't necessarily like the arms and shoulders that would be seen in a strapless gown.  So *maybe* there will be options for me now.

Me too, I would totally wear that dress if I were doing a winter church wedding. I don't think lace sleeves will work in the Caribbean in spring, unfortunately! cheesy.gif

At first glance I was disappointed - I wanted something a bit more fashion forward. But the lace work at the bodice must've taken FOREVER as it was so symetrical. The lace on the bottom part of the dress was reminiscent of Alexander McQueen's last collection which I LOVED...very regal. The lines in the back were amazing. I believe that she had to have her shoulders covered and maintain a lot of modesty due to Westminster Abby's request?

I personally would have not chosen that dress - but I absolutely appreciate the talent and craftmanship that went into making it.

I *almost* preferred Pippa's dress.

I loved loved LOVED her dress! I thought it was incredibly elegant and classy, very appropo! I did expect to see her in something like Pippa, but I was happy to be surprised as well...

And her reception gown was gorgeous! I love how elegant she is, and she's SO photogenic! Love it!

I loved the hats! This one was my favorite, but only because I couldn't figure out how it stayed on...!!

I loved everything about that dress... and the entire wedding for that matter. I'm a teacher and I made all three of my classes watch the first 20 minutes of the ceremony last Friday. Hey - it's an important historical moment, right?! We had a viewing party and had hot chocolate and scones!

My fiance wants to delete it of the PVR since the coverage I recorded is taking up 10 hours of space... Is it weird that I won't let him do it? Haha. I'm a little obsessed :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
