Bahia Principe Tulum Wedding - December 2011...HELP!!

Hello,

I just signed up on this site, and it seems like there is tons of information! I am getting married in December at the Bahia Principe Tulum in the Mayan Riviere.

We have the wedding day confirmed for December 8th at 2pm on the beach.  Could anyone help me figure out a good schedule of events for the day?  I am wanting to have a dinner and then a small reception after the dinner where we can do all the customary things like first dance, father daughter dance.. etc

I feel like there will be a big gap between the ceremony and dinner, and am trying to figure out how it should be filled.

Any advice anyone has would be extremely helpful, I am feeling a little overwhelmed!

Also, does anyone have any advice on the resort photographer?

Thanks very much

Megan from Canada

Welcome! Congrats on deciding on a location and picking a date.  For us that was the hardest part!

Try searching for the Bahia Principe Tulum thread, I'm sure there will be other brides on there who can help you with all the specifics, like the schedule of events for the day.

Happy planning:)

Congratulations and welcome to the forums! All I can tell you about the resort photographers... is you have to use them. They are not allowing outside photographers onsite. All tho I recently heard that the policy has changed. I have not had a bride confirm that yet so maybe one can set us straight with the new policy if there is one.

Best of luck with your plans!

Lincoln

ps - I was able to shoot one wedding there many many moons ago! Here is a link to the pictures. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.184231224486.122215.18683524486&type=1

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
