We are getting married on Valentine's Day 2012 at the Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas.  We have about 21 people booked to join us, and I imagine we'll get a few stragglers signing up once the crappy weather sets in. We booked our travel and set up our group rate through Sue Stiliades at itravel2000.com.  She is the group/wedding coordinator and is fantastic. We've had absolutely no issues, and she got us a great rate for our guests.

 

Anyone else out there getting married at the Palace in Cabo?

Anyone interested in a "Custom Made Wedding Website" ... let me know.  I made one for myself and then started to make them for other brides that are having destination weddings.

I'M A 2012 BRIDE!!!!  Our date is September 1, 2012 at Secrets Royal Beach in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.  I must say, this wedding planning stuff is OVERWHELMING but SO VERY WORTH THE FUSS that comes with it.  So far we have almost 20 people booked and we have a lot more folks who plan to book. I created a design for our STD but I only ordered one so I can see what it looks like.  PRAYERFULLY we will love it & then order more.  We've got our photographer that we are bringing with us (www.hillaryferguson.com) and our videographer (www.videopuntacana.com) .  I can't wait to go to Punta Cana! It's going to be SOO much fun!!!

Hi 2012 brides! I am getting married in Winter 2012 but am still waiting for the travel agent to come back with rates and packages for guests from across Canada. Because I wanted to be sure that I gave everyone one year's notice, we sent out "Quick Wedding Update" emails last week. We did this even before we sent the Save the Dates bc we didn't want to wait another month or so to pick that, when a lot of people will need to start saving and plannign vacation time etc. I've seen a bunch of people ask questions about that, so I've pasted the email we sent in case it is helpful. We have had so many (way more than expected) write back and say how grateful they were to get the advance notice and are very excited to go away to share our special day. ...Next up - pick our date and location.

We hope you are all doing well. It has been just over a month since our engagement and we've been happily planning the next stage of our life together! Michaela and I are excited to announce that we will be having a Destination Wedding and we would really love to have you with us for this special moment.

 

With friends and family reaching from Nova Scotia to Vancouver Island, we are considering central, sunny locations that offer the best possible rates and ultimate destination experience for our guests. 

 

We are not quite ready to send out "Save the Date" cards, however we do want to give you a heads up that we're in the process of looking for the perfect family-friendly tropical resort for a late-November to early-December 2012 or mid-January to mid-February 2013 wedding.

  

Once we have picked a resort and location we will send you all the information to help you decide if you can join us.  There will be a deposit required to book your trip, which is why we wanted to let you know early. All of this info should be coming in the next one to two months. We know you will have questions and we will provide all details as soon as possible.

  

We truly want this to be a fabulous vacation for everyone and hope to celebrate in the sun with you!

I am a December 2012 bride, getting married in St. Thomas USVI.

So far we have our ceremony/reception booked. Our photographer booked. STD's have been mailed out. Wedding website is finished. Deposit has been made on my dress. We currently have 10 rooms booked (20 guests), not including my fiance and I. Super excited to start 2012. Congrats ladies! =]
