I haven't ordered yet but I contacted a florist that the resort recommended and they emailed me a book with lots of examples! I think I have a pretty good idea of what I want!

Welcome and congrats AmJ!

Planning here has kind of stalled, I think it's mostly due to heat wave and not wanting to just sit at the computer and work on projects.  The next project is the welcome booklet.  I figure that is something I can design and work on over the next 9 months.  Need FI to get on the clothing train, i have been buying stuff since we got engaged but nothing for him because we don't have joint accounts at this point so we are each doing it separately.

Thanks Chelsea,

I have checked out your website about the barefoot jewelry you make. Silly question, do you have  your prices posted? I am wearing sandals down the aisle...silly but I want to wear shoes with a heel so my dress doesn't drag in the sand and I really don't want to get it hemmed...it is the perfect length with a short heel and I know I will walk better with a heel...silly..I know.

I am interested in getting matching barefoot jewelry for my bridesmaids, possibly clear and red beads mixed, the bm dresses are a cranberry red, our accent wedding color is a light but vibrant blue. If you can give me an idea of how much one pair would cost, including shipping. I live in Alberta Canada.

Thank you!

Hello amjohnson!

It is absolutely not a silly question! I would ask that you please email me at redibychelsea@gmail.com and I can send you a custom jewelry form which will help me determine the pricing. There are some specific questions that I ask on there since they're custom jewels. I can also give you a better idea once I have your zipcode about the pricing. I just sent a box full of custom bridal & bridesmaid jewelry to Canada the other day but it does vary by zip code. Again, if you can email me I'd be happy to send you the form.

Your idea to wear sandals down the aisle isn't silly! It's your special day and you need to make sure it's exactly how you want it to be. If you're comfortable wearing shoes with a heel and that works for you, then that's what you should do. There's not one thing that you "have to do" as a destination wedding bride and that's the beauty of it :)

I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

That is so crazy!! I am still learning how to post on this forum...a little overwhelming but I plan to dedicate more time to investigate!

Sorry it took me a bit to see this, I posted "ALL" the pics to an album on here so they are all there, after all that work I love showing them off, the dragonfly used in almost everything for my wedding was drawn for me by my 17 year old daughter she makes me so proud!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
