2012 Brides - Roll Call!

They are great bags especially for a buck!! How are you deciding on how many bags to buy? I think this is why I havent bought any because I have no idea how many people are actually coming. And then do you buy per room or per person? So far I know of maybe 14 people BUT only 6 have booked...I just dont want to buy too many or not enough. Are you guys just winging it basically?

These are cute but for 10 bucks a piece is a bit steep. You can probably get plain canvas bags cheaper & iron on an image.

We are doing 1 bag per couple and then 1 bag for any singles.  We haven't bought our bags yet but probably will soon, we sent out 100 invites (yes our families are crazy!) but only expect anything from 30-60 people (it could be more but I think that's a good high end guess!) so we will probably get 3 dozen bags and we should be covered! If we have extra I am sure we can sell them on here or find a use for them.  We are doing $1 or $2 bags so I am not too too worried!

Good point about the bags being seasonal. I think I will check out some stores this weekend to see what I can find. Thanks!

I blame the families, we are inviting some of FIs aunts and uncles who are in nursing homes.... we know they wont come but his parents insisted!!!! Aside from that his side is huge and mines not too much better.... I couldn't get over how many people... over 200!!!! UGH oh well... we already know who we can expect and who we know is a definite NO!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
