I should probably make a list up. Things I want to do my FI says is lame lol. Anyone else have that problem? Like for example OOT bags. He said there is no need. Even the maracas & luggage tags! He doesn't want to be included in any of it so now I am second guessing doing the bags. Men!! I was going to get pashminas but thought its going to be HOT!

So far I have sent STDs, got invites made(didnt send out yet), booked a room block, secured our date with resort, paid a deposit on a photographer, bought a dress, made luggage & maraca tags & thats it!!!!

I need to get shoes, the I DO sticker(love that) ask the guys & girls to be in the wedding(thanks for the card!), get their outfits, FI outfit, book DJ, book flight, pay our room, pay for the wedding package, brochures, welcome letters, figure out OOT bags & what the heck I am gonna put in them and get a head count! Guess thats my list...ugh. I should copy this for a starter list. I am feeling overwhelmed today!

@celticgirl & canadiangirl you both have done so much!!

How did you do a DIY luggage tag? On cardstock? Would love to know... and how are you doing your OOT bags? Like what goodies are you putting in with them... I really would love to have these, but I think they may be out of my budget.

If you search on here you will find tons of different suggestion for luggage tags and OOTs

I think anyone can do OOT bags and keep them in their budget, it is really easy to get carried away but we wont be doing favours just our OOTs so tjhat saves some budgets.  I think it's just a fun addition to the trip for your guests like Leigh said.

You can get self laminating luggage tags, and many other options!!

its all about the dollar store..i got my OOT bags from there for a 1.00 lime green and turquoise (mesh style beach bag) on the front of it i will be doing an iron on transfer with our monogram on it.

As far as the GOODIES go, im putting in personalized cups(ebay) hand sanitizer (dollar store) citronella candle - sorry about the spelling lol (canadian tire) flip flops either (dollar store or old navy) creams, hangover kit which will include asprin, chapstick (with personalized label on it) tums, nasua meds lol and pepto. then Im doing a first aid kit which will have (personalized name tag) band aids, sewing stuff, just incase lol.room key holders with a spiral wrist band (walmart) playing cards, oh and I did a do not disturb door sign lol this is my fav thing so far hehehehe

i think thats it lol as far as the luggage tags, ive done the template for them, but iam not printing them until were back home..less to pack! but I will be printing them on cardstock paper (leftovers from the invitation inserts)

As far as we go, were not having alot of ppl maybe 20. But if you are doing more than that, what I would do is make everything personal...and do smaller OOT bags, so it looks full lol lol

OH yeah i forgot...I also did a welcome book for everyone, it was going to be a cut and paste into a small ring binder from the dollar store, but it ended up being 8 pgs so im going to go the again..dollar store and buy those transparent ones and put them in there! K now I think thats it. Alot of my stuff Ive done DIY projects, but im happy to help if you need it. I hope this helped u

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
