  • 1 month later...

My fiance designed our entire wedding website.  That was his contribution so far and I have to admit it turned out perfect.  He included a section on how we met and our proposal which were both absolutely adorable.  He used wedding wire and said it was very easy to use!

im just starting my wedding website and i got a bit confused...when the wedding websites have the "our story" / "how we met"/ proposal section (bit different from each website but generally these catergories)....do you use "we" or talk in the third person. as in "our story - we met in....." or "jessica and orlando met...etc etc etc"

I don't think there's a right or wrong answer in how this should be approached. I really think it's most important that it reflects the spirit of the couple. Do you want this to be formal or informal? Answering this question might help you decide.

I just started our website on weddingwire tonight.  I wasn't sure how to word things either, but I've been using alot of we and our.  Finding myself having a hard time thinking of what to say/write on each page.  I'm not very creative...lol!

I love your website! Unrelated question. I'm a Cancun bride too (The Royal on 9/4/2012). I'm also a Chocolate bride. What are your plans for hair and makeup? I'm thinking about individual braids with the hair loose and having the resort salon put it in a simple undo. I think my only choice for makeup is me doing it!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
