Whew! My 30 day Asylum journey is complete!!! Took me a little longer than 30 days because of Thanksgiving and me falling into a rut...eh...but now I am back at it and ready to start P90X2...which came in the mail 2 days ago...so it's perfect timing

 

I loved the Asylum so I might integrate some of those workouts into P90x2, unfortunately we leave in 63 days which means I am going to have to give it my all and just finish out the 90 days when I get back, even though my wedding will be done and over with I still am going to hang in there because I believe in finishing what i've started .

 

How are the rest of you ladies doing with your workouts???

Nice job on finishing Asylum!!  I don't know why but after doing Insanity I have no desire to do P90X.  I did the first month a few years ago and I just don't like it now that I've done Insanity.  Guess I am not a big weight fan anymore.

 

Right now David and I are just trying to do a workout every other day for the month of Dec and then we will hit it hard again starting in Jan for those 6 weeks leading up to the reception.  I wanted to take it easy and enjoy the foods we were craving and not workout as much this month because I feel if we kept it up we'd burn out long before Feb.  So we hit the gym 1-2 times a week, we do 1-2 Insanity DVDs a week and now I am throwing in some P90X DVDs that I haven't done in a while.  We did Core Synergistics last night which was fun and different from what we are used to.  We are just trying to keep it fun and active right now and then we will get crazy and insane again starting in Jan. =)

Hey all,

I am on day 24 of Insanity and am really enjoying it, however I have missed a workout here and there as I've been crazy busy at work and with writing my final paper but I am still maintaining a min of 5 times a week. Looking forward to taking some pics at the 30 day point.

All right, I just read this entire thread!  You ladies are soooo inspiring!  Loved the before and after pix!  FI and I have been talking about ordering either Insanity or P90x since both or our gym memberships have expired and were debating on whether we should re-new them to save money.  This thread has motivated me to order Insanity!  I am afraid, but I really need to whip my body into shape again!

 

Thanks for all the posts for motivation, hopefully I can become an active member on this thread in the next several months!

Bride2012 or any other bride....do you have a good copy of Insane Abs and Max Sports Training?  If so, do you have the capabilities to copy them to another DVD?  I haven't been successful at finding those two online.  I decided to ask my eBay seller but I bought them back in April so I doubt they will be of any help.  I tried searching webstore like you said Bride2012 but I only see the complete sets.  I just want those two DVDs so I can try them out.

 

I plan to start it up again next week.  6 weeks until the home reception.

yes, i can have myFI burn them! 6 weeks left for both of us:), P90x2 is a great strength workout, not really good for cardio, so im doing an asylum/p90x2 hybrid, almost down 30lbs in total!
