GROOM: with or without tie?

Recommended Posts

No, I am def not picking something for him (unless he fails to get something by the time the wedding iis here!). But I had to change my "whatever you want to wear" and add "with my approval". Only b/c he thinks that you shouldn't have to wear a shirt if you are on the beach - wedding or not. So, needless to say, I changed my mind real quick and let him know that he can pick out anything he wants within reason. Can't be too careful!

I am in the same club as Paul. I picked everything out myself and did not even show Karen until the wedding day.

I went for the no tie look. It was already hot enough in the suit and shirt. I did bring one with me just in case I changed my mind at the last minute though.

the original guybera (sp?) shirt that paul bought he didn't like. so we went shopping the week before we left for Mexico, and he bought a couple light white shirts. he decided the morning of the wedding which one he was going to wear! then he wore the other one for our legal ceremony in Hawaii.

I said the same thing ("whatever you want to wear"), but then Mike got all excited and told his GMs they were wearing tux t-shirts. He even went so far as to research them online and find ones with bouteneirs that match my BMs dresses! So, saying I don't care what he wears only goes so far!

OMG, that is too funny. Once I told Matt that he HAD to wear a shirt, he said, fine how bout a tuxedo t-shirt? I told him NO WAY! Then I told him, we can do tuxedo t-shirts for the reception, cuz it is kinda funny. But I want at least some nice and pretty pics!

smile120.gif I told Mike he could wear the tux t-shirt the ENTIRE time we're there, with the exception of the actual ceremony because I want nice pics!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
