    Hey Ladies!

So I wanted something that would let my guest know they are in for a wonderful and fun time for our November wedding. I am a wedding photographer and I have a designer that I use to design my marketing materials. I asked her to design my save the dates as well. Here is the final design and I love them!!! I dont think I need to send out invites because I think these will be enough but I am not sure if I should send rsvp cards a few months before or just call my 50 or so guest to ask if they are joining us? Any suggestions?

      Ohaske,

Wow! That is a beautiful save the date! I am going to send out invitations in August, including RSVP's because I want to know who is coming and who is not. There are a few people in the family who are undecided, and I don't want any last minute surprise guests popping up. I already know who is booked from our travel agent, but I'm thinking formal invitations with an RSVP enclosure is what we are going to do. It is a wedding afterall, and people would RSVP if we were getting married here.

I love the colors!  Its a lovely STD!  I chose to still send out invites and RSVP's.  People DO NOT send back RSVP's like they should.  I wouldn't necessarily spend the money on paper RSVPs but I would consider creating an online RSVP.

BTW, what part of MD do you live in?

Beautiful!! Personally, I probably would do the rsvps too. But, I don't think it's really a must have especially since you'd probably do better with calling people versus waiting on snail mail for a reply.

They look great.  We originally were going to send out our STDs and then invitations later.  However, after we sent out our STDs pretty much everyone who knew they were coming told us right away.  We pretty much know now (4 months after sending out the STDs) who is coming and who is not.  We think its not neccessary to sent out invitations so we are not.  The few people that haven't RSVPd we just called and asked them and all of them said they weren't coming thats why they didn't RSVP.  I guess you can see how many responses you get from the STDs and go from there.

Beautiful!  I love this idea.  Did you have your pictures professionally done?

Yes I did. Our photography is a good friend so we are being his test subjects!

I love the colour choice and all the various shots you've included. I don't think you need invites either. I think online RSVP is the way to go. You can always call the few people you do not hear from.
