Thanks for the info ladies!  I am planning a June 2013 wedding at Now Jade.  My parents, FI, and I are making a site visit this June 2012.  Right now we have the pergola, mix bar, and bamboo room booked.  I originally had my heart set on an outside receptions, but we were worried about the heat in June. I don't want sweaty bodies on the dance floor, lol.  Has anyone had an outdoor reception in June?

Hi brides! We got married at Now Jade in January and everything was perfect! The resort is amazing and our wedding coordinator, Pilar pulled everything together. We had the best day of our lives :)

We had our reception in the Bamboo Room - it was very spacious (we had 6 round tables of 8 people) and the middle area was a great dance floor. They close it off from the main buffet so you get total privacy with the curtains drawn.There is AC but it did a bit warm during the dancing portion so some people sat out on the terrace for a bit but it is not much better. Still a bit humid in the evening. We thought it was better doing it indoors as it can get a bit windy at night and we didn't want napkins, hair, food, etc blowing everywhere. It may not be as windy/humid in other months though.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
