I am ordering the same maracas from amos.com and am trying to figure out if the 6 or 8 inch are better. Why did you decide on the 6 inch over the 8 inch?

    Thanks!

    Melissa

Thanks for the maracas idea!  I was thinking of using them for table assignments, but that is cute too! :)

I actually contacted my resort and asked for the measurement of the plates being used at my reception (crazy I know) then I drew up 2 different size maracs the 6 and the 8 and put each on the fake plate I drew the 8 was a bit big for my liking so I went with the 6 they will be on each guests plate at the reception dinner. Hope this helps!

I don't really have a template... I just used our save the date without all the save the date information and added text boxes. In my opinion the easiest way to make them is on powerpoint. I was able to save it as a jpg and send it online fed ex office for printing. If you have any questions I am glad to help!

I went with the medium for a few reasons. They will fit the guests plates better at the reception and although its not that much of a size difference I am keeping in mind I have to get all of this stuff down to Mexico. So re medium ones were the better choice for me.
