We are getting a list from our travel agent with everyone's arrival times. We want to hand deliver all of our OOT bags (whether it is us, my parents, or his parents) -- so we're hoping that the hotel will give us everyone's room number each morning so we can stop by rooms around when they get there and before they head out to the pool!

I went to another DW a few years ago, and it felt so great that the bride and groom took the time to come to our room and welcome us to Mexico... I loved that so I'm hoping to do the same for all of my guests...

But it could also be a logistical nightmare, so I just have to see what the resort will give us in terms of room numbers...

I guess it's a possibility but our/all of the rooms have little fridges in them. We'll probably keep them there until we're ready to distribute them wink.gif

Schica927:  I figured the rooms should be fairly cooled with the air conditioning -- so hopefully the Hershey's Kisses won't melt.  Or, like someone mentioned, each room has a small fridge so they can pop them in there.  We are also making white chocolate sand dollars before we leave so hopefully they will make the trip.

We are having Beaches Resort deliver 1the bags to our guests in each of their rooms.  I hope that doesn't become a problem.  They will deliver them for $3 each.  Our guests are all arriving at different times, so it seems easier than us spending so much time going from room to room.

I haven't heard of anyone on the thread mention things missing from their bags or anything like that, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything arrives safely!

Thanks Kendall! How are you getting everything there? Are you worried about customs causing a problem?

Kendall, did you do your "in sickness and in health..." notes on pre-perforated business card paper or did you just create a template in word and print them on normal card stock and cut them?

Also, do you mind sharing what font/clip art you used or the template itself? Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
