Beaches Negril Brides 2011

When you say as long as they're a guest, do you mean at the resort or to your wedding?? I only ask because i want my friend whos a photographer to shoot my wedding but he and his wife cant afford to stay at sandals so they are going to stay somewhere else but get day passes for the day before and the day of my wedding. They're ligitimate wedding guests of mine and will be on my guest list. Im stressing about this detail about "third party vendors" since they're actually my friends and guests!! Any advice or info?? My TA is being kind of salty about it because she's a sandals rep.

If I remember correctly, it was if they are guests of the resort. I just went through my emails with the WC, but I guess we verbally discussed that one. I would ask her or call the resort if I were you. With that said, if your photographer doesnt have lighting etc, seems to me it shouldnt be an issue if they snap you. The same as if you were to pose for another guests pictures.

Hello,

I'm new to this site and am getting married on December 2, 2011 at 3pm.  We've opted for the Seaside Serenade theme.  We've had our first session with Renee Phillips and are now going over all of the options and add-ons with the "private dinner/reception" and things seem very pricey.  Hoping you can help me...  I'm a little confused as to what is the difference between the 30 minute reception after the ceremony is, you mentioned you had your first dance then.  My understanding of a couple's first dance is usually at a reception after dinner on a big dance floor.  Does Beaches do the reception before dinner and this is where you have to have your first dance?  Also, you said that you had gone to dinner at the resort restaurant, was this for your entire wedding party or just you and the groom.  I've been trying to understand if the only option for dinner is to have a "private dinner" where you have to pay additional $ for the meals and tables or if the restaurants can be reserved for the entire party as it is already an all inclusive resort and we'd like to keep it as casual can be and spending less money would help. :)

My wedding is Dec 3rd, guess I will see you there!!! :)  We decided to to the beautiful beginning and design it the way that we want.  It is quite pricey but much less compared to having a weddign here.  Our consultant is also Renee.  We are doing the 3hr reception.  We love to party so we think this is best.

Anybody know information about wedding planners who plan Beaches wedding.  I just met somebody who plans weddings at Sandals/Beaches, and I wonder how exactly that worsk???

Anybody know information about wedding planners who plan Beaches wedding. , what do you mean WhatWhatoifjdff

What do you mean???

I'm doing the Beautiful Beginnings wedding as well, however I don't care for the orchids and prefer round bouquets so I'm getting them from Floral Fantisies. Also, I found from another thread that Beaches will provide free tables (with white table cloths, china, glassware...) for free. So essentially I would be paying $100 per table for a pink matt and a vase of orchids to be added. Thats crazy, so I'm trying to figure out my own centerpieces. We are doing the 3 hour reception, and since we will have over 10 rooms, we will do a $60 per person dinner, which is the $75 one discounted.

If you book more then ten rooms the 3hr reception is discounted to 60/person?????

What I meant about the wedding planner is that I have met somebody over the weekend who sas she plans weddings at sandals and beaches so I am curios as to ho exactly that works?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
