I'd love to know the overall good and not so good about the rooms, food, bars, access to other parts of the city.

Ive heard: hard beds, noisy by the elevators and facing the courtyard, food not up to par, sometimes no towels and not making up of bed, mixed up room assignments i.e no King Bed available. On the other hand the grounds are kept well and the staff is nice. I wonder about those above with older guests coming and back issues, of course because we've asked them to come at High season w/ high cost I hope the resort is up to its 5 star rating. So let me know how it goes!!! and congratulations. I'll be right behind you Jan 5

well I alreayd know that theres a HUGE difference in 5 star mexican and 5 star american. I think the Riu will be like a 3.5 star on the American scale....

I worry alot about my 50 guests not having a good time but I think it's what you make of it. Ofcourse the hard beds will suck bu theres nothing you can do about it...

I think there's a walmart REALY close by in Bucerias.(sp). I'm doing up my welcome newsletter this weekend and I plan on putting that stuff in there so i'll let ya know that as well.
