Nice choice. Love hearing from other girls who are into cars! There are a few local car mustang club forums around here (used to be a mod for one of them, but it was too stressful), but there aren't a lot of girls around, and definitely not any nice ones like here LOL

Mine's a 2007 GT. She has Hooker exhaust, 3.73 gears, pullies, torque converter, lowering springs, some other suspension stuff, custom tune, and a bunch of visual mods (roll bar, blacked out taillights, clear side lights, wheels and tires). I'm pulling about 305 rwhp at the tires. Hopefully after the wedding I'll have some money to add some more go-fast parts :-)

FI has a 95 supercharged GT that's putting down about 605 rwhp at the tires. He just got it a few weeks ago (traded his 78 vette for it), so I haven't seen or driven it yet. It's in our storage unit.

Any mods done to the boxster?

no mods, I love driving it around but I have never even seen the engine or even added oil to either of the boxster's I've had.  I have however changed bulbs and fuses, that's the extent of my comfort with diy for automotive engineering.  I laughingly say that there are mice/elves live in the trunk and somehow turn gas into go fast.  I'm impressed with all your mods, you are much more advanced in your automotive knowledge than me.

The next car is thanks to the wedding being complete and money left for fun stuff (not that the wedding isn't fun, but its different).

My hubby would be jealous about FI's vette, he would love to have one eventually, but I get the fun cars and he gets the trucks for work which aren't as fast or as nice (he has a landscaping business and is rough on trucks).

LOL @ mice/elves. I think the mice/elves under my hood have a drinking problem. They guzzle gas like its going out of style. But its worth it to blow by the boys on the street!

FI does power washing for a living and he's very rough on trucks too. He's put like 70000 miles on the F150 in two years! And that's only working 9 months/year! He also doesn't get to drive my car because he has a habit of leaving trash and receipts all over the place - bad kid! :-)

Hubby gets to enjoy mine, he's good at keeping them clean, although you wouldn't know that looking at his.  Concur on the drinking problem and speeding past the guys at stop lights!  Guess we are the only car girls here.  I'm excited to get my 335i tomorrow!!  its montego blue (bright blue) and has a 300hp twin turbo, drool.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
