Second thoughts...what dress do you like better?

Recommended Posts

#1 reminds me a lot of Jessalyn's dress...and I don't remember her saying she was too hot or anything?

Honestly, I like them both. But I agree, If you're happy w/ the one you have then I wouldn't go through the process or buying and selling dresses if I didn't have to. :-)

I got married in June, the hot season in Cabo, and their was a ton of wind the day of our wedding so it kept us cool, in fact for our dinner I was actually kind of cold..
This was what iw as thinking as well. You will definitely have to take a loss on the first dress and honestly I agree that in October it won't be super hot either.

The second dress is an Alvina Valenta. It's an older AV. I can't find any other pictures of it anywhere. It's no longer on the designer's website; I think it's from the Fall 03 line, style #AV9351. This dress is a size 0/2. If that will work for you, I can send you the seller's contact info.

Thank you for all of your feedback. I *think* I am going to keep the first dress. I do like it, and I really don't want to go through the hassle of trying to sell it. The fabric is actually a silk taffeta, not satin. In person, it's not as shiny as it appears in the photos.

Thanks again!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
