How crazy, I asked twice about that every sixth room directly to the resort and they said it only goes until December! Crazy! They are quoting me 126 per room. Why all of the difference do you think? It makes me so nervous.  I will email them again.  Yes, Deb said that she could not help me, that she would have to transfer me to her "groups" department.  Maybe it is because we are all from out of your area? Now I am curious and worried about the differences we are getting in the room pricing. Ahhhhh!

I don't know if a week difference would affect the rate? It's driving me crazy, too! At first I got 116 then it went up to 126 then I said I thought it was less so now I got 119. I don't know I'm actually starting to look at other resorts all over again because when I was trying to book this as NH I was getting the introductory rate. I was excited with the change but if they're going to raise their prices because of the name? It's really starting to frustrate me shots.gif

Me too! I agree completely.  I really wanted that 89/99$ rate and was so bummed when I was told no. Then I said it would all work out because of the every sixth room free, now they are not even giving me that.  I just emailed her and asked what was going on.  You are right, it says right on their website until April 2013.  I wonder if it is a language barrier issue, or because of the new ownership that they are having these issues? Keep me posted on your rates.  She said the rates she gave me were from April 8-30.  We should both negotiate until we get the same price and deal or close since we are so close in date.  Hang in there, its a great resort and the other NOW brides in Mexico are so pleased with their choices, we will be too.  It just takes a bit to iron out the kinks. At least we have a year to go to get it all perfect!

                 Thanks for all the help and info you have sent me, but i have just changed my resort. I am now going to majestic colonial, there was a really grate deal on that hotel yesterday and i just couldn't let it pass me by since it was my top pick. I wish you guys all the best with planning!!!!

                    Really, the Now was just taking to long to get back with me on all the info i wanted, plus i really want majestic in the first place but when i saw the price i knew that would be to much for my guest. it all happened so fast i went to go put my deposit for the now resort when my TA was like i have good news for you, who ever updated the price list for that hotel made a big mistake on the pricing. so my TA was able to lock me and my guests in at the wrong lower price!!!!!woot.gif

so each adult pays 1,420 for 7 nights and the kids are 902. this is wayyyyy cheaper than the quotes i was getting before. Before they adults we 1,680 and kids were 1,1300thatswck.gifthat they would even ask that much for a child. ya i was so thank full that my TA was able to find the mistake be4 it got fixed or else i would never be getting married at majestic, they really are expensive i wish they had packages like NOW does.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
