"New Resort Opening May 1 2011" NOW LARIMAR ~ PUNTA CANA

Recommended Posts

Hey girls,

Oddly enough I just send Silvia a message the other day asking about the liquor and this was the reponse:

The Divine wedding package included a cocktail with a private international bar for 1 hour, and for the reception dinner included a private international bar for 3 hours, to extend the reception dinner the cost is US$12.00 + TAX per person, per hour.

I hope that helps!! I'm unsure about the other packages though...

I am so frustrated trying to pick a resort! I just came across this one and am familiar with AMResorts who own Zoetry, Dreams, Now and Secrets. I like that the resort is smaller than some of the huge ones because its more intimate and I like that this resort seems to have more activities. When you went, were there a lot of kids? We only have 3 kids coming along but I don't want to stay at a children's central hotel. Also, could you please share your pics?

Thank you!

Evelyn

Congrats on your wedding! Do you have any pictures you wouldn't mind sharing? I am having a super tough time figuring out quality resorts. I listened to 2 stupid travel agents who assured me 2013 brides would not book early and low and behold all our dates are taken! But Now has availability so I am curious about other brides' experiences.

@ Skygirl I was initially thinking about extending the hours, because in 3 hours you have to squeeze dinner, speeches and dances... Its not much time - and in my case its from 7-10, so its seems strange to have your reception to end so early... But, at the price - I thought about it, and just thought - We are staying at an ALL-INCLUSIVE resort... We can go anywhere and drink our faces off and its already paid for... So, for us - 3 hours will be plenty of time! haha

Hey ladies! My wedding is 11.10.12 and I am having a legal ceremony with a pastor. I've tried to get additional information about the paperwork and translations involved however they keep sending me the same instructions. Does anyone have any advice if they went through this process or are preparing for the legal ceremony at Now? Also I'm concerned about the English speaking pastor, did anyone have the WC translate? If so how did that go? Thanks and good luck to you all!!

Hey ladies, I hope everyone is doing good. Thank you to the past brides that have been sharing their experience, you have no idea how much that helps. We've got 3 more month to go and I'm actually feeling pretty relaxed. The only thing I'm waiting for is my dress. ahhhhhh.

Here is a gallery from a past bride, that she asked me to share with you guys.

@Donna I agree 3 hours should be enough time, we're planning on getting our first dance and dance with our parents done as soon as we walk into the reception and than doing dinner. After the 3 hours there will be plenty of room to move it to the lobby bar and than the disco!! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
