Hello Brides to be!!! Hope everyone is doing well!!! I have a few more questions and before asking WC i thought i would check with all of you. I saw there is no dancing in the restaurants, so I think I am leaning to the pool area for my reception, I would do ballroom, but prefer to be outside. Do you think there is room for dancing out there by the pool? And are any of you renting the dance floor? I am still concerned with photographer, I think I'm just gonna pay the vendor fee and hire my own photographer, I found some good ones down in Punta Cana, at least I can see their work on their website. Does anyone know what are all the decorations included in the fountain decor for $1500? And how far in advance are you sending out your invitations? Our wedding is in August 2013, I have already sent out STD, and plan to get my invites out in January, but wonder if that is too early. Thanks in advance ladies!!!

I think that if you do a private dinner in a restaurant dancing is allowed but there is like a $5000 charge to have a restaurant private .... but if you are just booking space in a restaurant then there is no dancing as they just have a section roped off for you.

 

Yes, from what I read there is enough room for dancing pool side. I guess it depends on the number of guests though.

 

I sent out my invites back in June after I booked the travel, I have a 90 day hold on seats/rooms with Sunwing Vacations.  Gave everyone who wanted the group pricing enough time to get everything together.

Jennifer- From what I have seen in pictures of the pool setup there is definitely room for dancing, no need to rent a dance floor.

I'm unsure whats included in the 1500 fountain package, I do know the wooden walkway and the carpeted area are included.

You were gorgeous!! Congratulations!   We are getting married in October of this year at Now Larimar and I am officially starting to freak out.  We ahve seen some great pictures (like yours) and other not so great (to say the least) photos that have scared us into almost cancelling!  What can you tell us about the resort, the grounds, the rooms,  the food, the atmosphere overall? Is it pretty or beautiful?  I have just seen to many pictures both great and AWFUL and I can't tell at this point.   I know you also stayed at Zoetry.  Would you rate Now close to Zoetry in terms of overall beauty?  Also, we are working with Silvia and I feel like I am getting nowhere with her.  Do you have suggestions as far as what to really let go of for now....we are down to two months! 

 

How was the beach ceremony wedding as far as onlookers?  Did you feel like it was invasive or that you had your privacy?  How was the food at the resort overall?  Anything you can tell me....at all.....is SO helpful.
