DeeSanders:They charged my card the same day I sent it over.  I had sent Emy an email two times that day asking if she got it and she didn't respond.  I tried not to worry about it since the card had been charged the right amount.  It took her about 3 weeks to send my confirmation email. I think it ended up being the same for MoniWoni.  Can your TA call over and ask? That is what my TA ended up doing.  They can't give out her direct line, but I think most of the TA's have it. I would be uneasy as well since they have not charged the card.  Maybe also email her daily, sometimes that works too. 

JB:I bet they will get you your confirmation email in a few days.  I just wish they would at least respond to us to say they are working on it!

 

I think my monogram is done finally.  I am having a bit of trouble uploading it as well, but I will work on that tonight so you guys can see it.

OK ladies, how much did they charge your card?? Mine was 99 and some change. Also 50 min after it was charged tons of crazy things got charged to my account. I was on the phone for 45 min with my bank. They are saying this happens a lot with the dominican.. did anyone else have any problems?? I am soo mad right now, I could cry. I sent my stuff in about 1 to 1 1/2 ago and they just charged it yesterday. I thought it was suppose to be 100??

 

Should I say something to the resort or no??

 

Emy did send me a email today saying they recieved my card info and will send me a confirmation letter by the end of the week

DeeSanders:OMG, that is AWFUL!!! They charged my card $99 immediately and that was it. We have been checking the charges daily though because we were worried about it.  When did the $99 go through-yesterday?  And then today was the random stuff?  What kind of charges and what amounts?  I would call the resort directly and raise heck.  That is unacceptable.  Emy prob. doesn't even know it is happening.  I am so sorry.  Hang in there. Cancel your card right away too-how sad and awful.

 

How did you finally get your monogram to upload? I have it saved in word form and no matter what I do I can't get it to upload.

I just went back and checked and I was charged $102.80..... but it was charged to nh arena since it was before the transition?  I got emails from claribel saying  my date is saved not to worry & she'll process as she as she gets a chance and then shortly after that I got the confirmation email.... I was happy because she did respond back with a quick email assuring me not to worry...

So I finally got my monogram to upload, but when I transferred it to jpeg form it changed it a lot! I had a shadow behind our names and dates and now it looks like a slashed line.  Any ideas?

JB March:How do I make it as big as yours?

My travel agent is Jan McGhee. JanM@traveleaders.com  I am assuming that because I am in Chicago it is cheaper.  Not sure why. Maybe because it is such a big airport there are more flights??  I did get a quote from another travel agent that one of you are using. Nora?  Just to price compare and it was pretty much the same.  I think there was a $4 difference.  I am hoping to hear something tomorrow so I will let you know!

Deesanders ~ i sent in my credit card info this morning. I'll let you know if Claribel responds to me or charges my card. Sorry to hear about your hassle! That is exacly what I was afraid of. I agree with Acutie, let the resort know that can not happen again. Good luck to you!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
