AcutieRN  I love your dress~ The lace is very romantic "beautiful"  & dont worry u will get the conformation, it took them a lil bit to send me mine too....so I know the feeling, It'll come..

I got in contact with that netbrides website and they are so on point & they get back to you with quotes right away.... also they say all the dresses are real no-knockoffs.

FYI..... I booked our flights on saturday with american airlines.... monday guests were trying to book same flights and none of them were showing up.... so I called AA today and they canceled my non stop flight.... to a layover in Miami WTF.  They allowed me and my guests to cancel our reservations and credit us back the money....thank goodness!  JET BLUE flights came out today...woohoo  239 one way 214 returning(which is what I had b4.... but now back to a non stop flight....so stressful, I can't even tell u.  I had to fill everyone who booked in on these details& AA didnt even notify us, it was by chance that I checked into it

I'm so glad everyone seems to be getting good rates=) & everything seems to be working out....There are definately tons of speed bumps..... but can u imagine if we didnt have this site....u girls help me on a regular

The netbride site is the real thing and you can negotiate the prices, I wasn't sure how you felt about knock-offs so I gave you that site and I've heard great things as far as their communication. I have seen another thread here about flights being changed, that's crazy! I can imagine how you feel, and not even be notified?!? Oh my! Good thing you saw it!

For invites wording I look at the DIY invites threads to find sample wording... that might give you ideas...

It took me forever to figure out how to make the monograms but JB and I both made ours on our own. I tried posting one of mine but I guess I didn't save it correctly.. it's under a word document I will post my Save the Date Boarding passes when they are done...

 

I AM GoING TO BE A NOW BRIDE LADIES!!! My FI and I finally made the decision! Now I am working on my group rates still, she is still trying to tell me that I can't get the 6th room free reinbursment until afterwards which makes NO SENSE to me.. it's kind of bs!! I am going to fight it and hopefully get it once we are paid in full.

 

I need to send in my deposit to secure our date!  I am sooo excited ladies!!

deesanders, if you can select all (I had a hard time doing this, especially when you have a textbox over another textbox... just press the ctrl key as you click on every item) and copy-paste it on paint you can save it as a jpg so you can download it on here .

You guys are prob. right about it being opening week and they are busy. I still have not heard back from her though...kinda crazy!

I think my rates include all tax and transfer.  It is based on 7 night occupancy(Saturday-Friday), all of my guests will be staying that long. She did say she is working on pricing for 5 nights and that would be in the contract too.  I will send it to you guys right away when I get it next week! I was just very persistent.  I emailed her every day and said I would not settle for a rate higher than $120 a night and the every sixth room had to be included.  It took a bit but it worked!  She said the same thing to me, that the room would be refunded immediately to the final payment.

DeSanders:I don't really know how to set up the flight alerts, my FI travel 5 days a week for work so he does it for us.  He will be home tomorrow and I will ask him and let you know. I think some people do it through Kayak, Expedia, etc.

Moni Woni:Where are you flying from? That sounds like a major pain with the airline but you ended up with a fantastic rate! Great job! I agree, if we didn't have this site (and Etsy) I don't know what I would do!

Conrats DeeSanders:Soooo excited you are def going with NOW! I think we will all love it, especially once all the transition is over. I can't wait to start reading the trip advisor reviews next week!  Does anyone know if they are still on schedule for the May 1 open date?

Hey Ladies!  I am ordering my save the dates. I went with a boarding pass.  I found a girl on etsy.com that will design my boarding pass for $30 and then I just take it somewhere to get printed. Way cheaper than ordering them through the invitation companies.  I am going to try and post the proof she sent me. I also found a cute dress!  Have not tried it on yet but think it is totally what I am going for.  I will try to post that too!  I am waiting to hear back from my TA.  I sent my deposit info to the hotel for my Feb 17th 2012 date so I am hoping I am all set!  I am hoping that prices go down in the next week so I can lock in prices.  I am trying to put a deposit on charter air as well so my guests have the option to book through my group rate.  I am worried about this price match guarantee as I am reading the way it works and feel that there may be a lot of stipulations in the agreement. I am waiting to hear back from my TA to see how that all works!!
