I'm so happy the site is up!!! Lookin good!!!  I still feel that this resort has the best rates going....  I'm sure after these specials end that they will run new specials.  Each day Im feeling really good that I chose this resort.  Everything looks like NEW!  I'm sure with the change there going to go out of there way with customer service & go above and beyond.... The NOW resorts are known to be great & this one is apparently on one of the nicest beaches!!!

Hey ladies!! I have a phone meeting with my TA today to figure out all the details so hopefully by the end of the week I will have my date set!!! I am glad that we all have each other to kind of go through this process together so we can see what deals they are giving each of us!! 

 

My future in laws came into town this weekend and we made the guys boutonieres and they came out great!

Hi girls!

I am getting soooo frustrated. I can not get a response from the resort to save my life, neither can my TA.  I have even sent Emmy a direct email asking to book my date with no response.  What else can I do? I am starting to feel like I should change resorts.  I want to book my photographer and can't do it until I have a confirmed date. You would think they would want my money. So annoyed today about this.

 

DeeSanders:let us know how your meeting with the TA goes today.  I am curious if you can get any dates for sure/prices for sure.

AcutieRn, do you have her correct email?? It's er.aquino@nh-hotels.com I haven't had a problem with her at all, very quick responses. Maybe email her again, maybe it's going to her junk mail??? Hang in there girl, it will all work out!

 

I will let you ladies know after I talk to her and see about the prices for the land part since the air isn't available yet.

I haven't had any issues contacting Emy either... Try to use the general "meetings" email also, maybe that would get you a response. I'm actually in the works of getting a group rate for another resort as well, just because of the group rate issue I've been having with them! It's really frustrating how they keep changing the price... I mean if you can give me the lowest possible price, just do it to avoid all the back and forth that takes a year! lol. I hope you hear back from them as well, maybe I'll mention you to her if you want?

OK Ladies so here is what I found out today.

 

1) Emy is not the wedding coordinator, and they still don't know who is going to be the wedding coordinator when they do open. That makes me VERY nervous

2) My TA said we need to wait and see if they even open on time because if they don't, that is not a good sign at all.

3) The Rates that my first TA gave me was COMPLETELY wrong and that really makes me mad!!! For 3 nights, 4 days it's 461 per person.

 

My new TA gave me a couple of different resorts which is what I am going to look into, if you ladies are interested I can tell you those resorts also!

Wow deesanders that's a lot more than what Acutie and I are being quoted! And your wedding is in August! That has to be wrong, If you get a quote from the resort directly you might get a better deal, unless ofcourse you're really wanting to switch resorts now... Do you have Ocean Blue and Sand on that list? That's the other place I'm looking into now. It's not a "big name" resort so it will be a plus as far as prices and I've heard good things from previous brides! So definitely considering... Oh and I can't open any files yet since I'm still a NOOB so if you don't mind sending it to my e-mail jaz_fugurl@yahoo.com thanks!

That's not a group rate yet just if we decided to book seperate but that does also include private transfers and all the taxes and fees. It ended up better for other resorts. She said that that price was high for what you get. No that resort isn't on the list at all actually, I'm going to have to look it up tomorrow at work. I will send you the over the pic of the boutonieres tomorrow :-)
