Hello Everyone!

 

My name is Wendy and I am looking into possible destinations for our wedding.  this resort looks lovely, hoewever I don't have nay infromation about the wedding packages/coctails hours/receptions dinne rprices, or what the locations look like. 

 

We will be getting married before we go down, and will be doing more of a renewal of vows to avoid all the legal stuff and transalation of documents. 

 

I would really appreicated if anyone had the time to send me over th information they have received about the wedding packages/offerings/.and extras.  I have seen some of the posts on here.

Hey girls!

I am feeling a bit worried...I know my wedding date is still a year away but flights to DR are sooooo expensive right now!  I live in Denver and we are looking at around $800-$1000 per person.  Is that what you all are experiencing?  I really love the idea of having my wedding at the new NOW in Punta Cana but am worried about my guests paying outrageous amounts for plane tickets.  Do you think they will go down?  I don't meet with my TA till next week, she may have some insight but was just getting a feel for what other TA's may be saying.  Also, Moniwoni and JB any luck on getting NOW to extend the introductory price for next year if we book now?

I hope you don't mind my added email to your forum, but I am researching the new "Now Resort" in Punta Cana.  I sent for some info but have not heard back yet from anyone, I was wondering if any of you got anywhere with rates for next year yet? I am looking at a January 2012 wedding.  Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated!

That price range is just for air? That's crazy! When is you date again? Maybe it depends on the area, I mean I haven't seen rates for my date yet since it's over a year yet but my TA has assured me that our rates would be around $800-$1500 land and air for 7 nights!

Yes, that is just for air! We of course can't know for sure because we are looking at April 2012 but my TA said that since they are booking flights out until Feb. 2012 now, that prices wouldn't be that different to April.  Of course gas is outrageous now and may come down in the fall, so hopefully things will change.If I can hold out and watch prices we may be ok.  Most of my family is flying from Kansas City and it is even more from there! It just stresses me because I don't want to comit to a resort if my guests can't afford airfare.  I guess this is where I will have to trust that everything will end up ok, and be patient. It does make me feel better that your TA is quoting you those prices. I was hoping to keep it around 1500 a person for 6 nights.  Where are you flying from? Have you booked the resort yet?

 

Nadine 108-Welcome and Congrats!It's great to have another person interested in this resort.  Seems like there are so few of us right now, but I know things will pick up here after May when NOW takes over NH Real.  Good luck in planning!

most of us would be coming from philly and ny, you're right though it's so hard to wait these things out. what if prices go higher? i'm crossing my fingers!!! i'm waiting on our contract to book the rooms and waiting on the WC to confirm my date. so half way therewoot.gif. i really can't wait to get more details on the wedding packages for Now, i just want to get the fun stuff started! haha.

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
