Hello,

 

I will be getting married at the NOW on August 6, 2011.  I started my booking process with them last September when I visited Punta Cana looking for a venue/resort.  This resort is fabulous!  Extremely well kept, stylish and best of all the staff is amazing.  I've stayed in many resorts in the past in Punta Cana and I have to say this is one of the best.  It's not EXTREMELY big but not small - just perfect for a destination wedding.  We have about 125 guests attending the wedding and so far there has been no issues with their reservations/rates during the transition.  Nothing as far as the wedding plans has changed for us.  The hotel has been great in keeping us informed of the change.  Feel free to ask any questions.  I have additional pictures of the resort I can share if you are interested.  Good luck!

I would love to see more pictures! We're on a very tight budget so a site visit is definitely out of the picture for us... Do you mind sharing what kind of rate you got for your group? Would you recommend going straight through the resort for booking? I'm using a TA and so far it's taking a while to get any solid rates, probably because it's not 'til next year. 125 guests, WOW! But it's definitely good news to hear that you're not running into issues as far as booking that many! Last question: Are you using the NH Real's current wedding package for your wedding?

Hello,

I am so happy so see some other brides interested in this resort! This is a top contender for my April 2012 wedding.  I am a bit apprehensive as well at planning a wedding at a resort so soon after a takeover. Mostly because I can't seem to get any information! My TA is working on getting room prices and I too hope to get in on the great deals for next year.  JB March, would you mind emailing me the wedding package info you have?  My TA is out of town and I won't meet with her for a couple of weeks but I'm dying for some information! Hey guys,

My name is Amber and I am looking at getting married in the DR in April 2012. I think this resort may be my frontrunner, but as mentioned its hard to get info on the resort due to the transition in ownership.  I have my TA looking into room rates and hope that the great specials will be given if we book ASAP.  The brides on other posts seem to have had good luck at the Now resorts, this is promising! JB March would you mind sending me the package info as well? JB,thanks so much for the info. It looks soooo amazing there. I really hope everything works out and this is where we end up.  I meet with my TA on April 6, she is going to put together some prices for various resorts to help me with my decision.  Although I think it is already made....thanks again! I will keep you guys posted on where we end up!

My name is Debbie and I also am looking into the NOW Larimar. My wedding date won/t be until 12/12/12, but we are trying to book as soon as possible seeing as I have some friends who are single parents and really want to know what they are looking at for prices. My TA hasn't even been that helpful so I may be looking for a new one. I would appreciate any and all information you can give me. Like pricing, pics, etc. My email is dbenway140930@gmail.com

Does any of you ladies know how much additional it costs per person after the 25  included in the divine wedding package?  My TA is taking a lil while to get back to me with all the info.... I think i'm gonna have to call the wc tommorow myself.... I havn't even found out if my date is avail yet.......ughhh     I'm trying not to be impatient but I need to know asap if i'm gonna get married this November so I can send out my save the dates.
