Sunandsand78, I haven't personally seen any of these, we only visited Palace resorts when we were in Mexico scoping out options. I've definitely heard about Le Reve. I think someone else suggested it, but looking around on the vendor review portion of this site should prove helpful :)

Looks like I finally joined the tribe of brides to be! Im super
excited, nervous & already stressing as Im sure you are all as well,
lol.

Since my fiance and I took our first vacation together to Mexico and
were engaged in Mexico, we have decided to wed in Mexico as well! I
had the opportunity to do one site vist while we were there during our
engagement week last month and have been doing TONS of research on
similar boutique hotels in the same region.

Our site visit was at Ceiba Del Mar. We met with Diana and she gave us
a tour of the resort and explained our options to us. I loved the
authentic and intimate feel of the hotel and am considering it as one
of my options. I have also researched a few other resorts that I would
GREATLY appreciate your feedback on ladies:-)

1. Escencia
2. The Tides Riviera Maya
3. Banyan Tree Mayokoba
4. Le Reve Hotel & Spa

Help! Help Help! & THANKS!

Welcome!

I know that I've seen our AMAZING photographer has a great deal going on with Le Reve. From what I've heard Le Reve is pretty awesome and intimate.

Here are a couple slide shows of Le Reve weddings that our photographer Del Sol did:

Good luck and happy planning! :)

Welcome to the forum,

WOW, this is an amazing promotion.  Le Reve is located so close to Playa del Carmen and it defines "Boutique"!

cheers,

matt

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
