I booked Caribbean Emotions. I liked their packages and prices (as I wanted just a media package...all photos on CD (edited) so that I can print them at my leisure at home. I also have an Uncle who used to do wedding photography making our coffee table/photobook as a gift, and can help out with a photo slideshow afterwards as well.

Ooh, I am looking at them as well. If you haven't already, they have some examples of their stuff on youtube you could check out.

Yes I love some of their photo slideshows on YouTube! I may have them do one for us as well. I think they only charge $50 or $100 for the photo slideshow if I'm not mistaken...

We booked the Royal package (500 edited pics on cd)- which is coverage of getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, photo session after and then we will just collect our guests pictures from the reception, as I didn't want to spend the extra to extend coverage into the reception.

I really like their pictures, reviews on this forum, pricing, and they have been great to deal with thus far - so I'm feeling good about our choice!

I'm sure you have plenty of time to shop around and make your decisions :) This forum is so helpful with it's reviews/posts!

I panicked when I contacted them last week, and they were already booked for 3 days out of my wedding week (April 2013) ....I may have taken some more time to consider it had it not been for that, as I was seriously looking at HDC as well.

Yes, I definitely do have quite a bit of time. I am going to book them right after I book the resort... cannot do that until May though!

So I can still shop around!

Will the resort not allow you to book until May? I had several TA's tell me that I had to wait to book as well...but then I found a few who got me pricing, and booked our travel right away.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
