Any other 2013 Brides??

I wish I had your flexibility!  May 4th sounds perfect!  I am a April 2013 bride.  We are hoping to we at The Riu Palace Riviera Maya.  We vacationed there 2 years ago & loved it.

 

Unfortunately, we are somewhat stuck  planning around the Easter 2013 Break (which we are assuming is April 1-5 although waiting on School Board to approve 2013 calender).  My FI's son is in high school and we do not want to pull him out of school for the wedding, we rather he be on his break.

 

I cannot book anything until I confirm the week...so I am going nuts waiting....I should know by next month.  I can only imagine what the pricing may be!  

 

In the meantime, this website has been marvelous to read through...I have been a sponge sucking up all these wonderful ideas!!!!

My fiance and I are getting married in August 2013 and we got engaged in March of 2011 so I think I have you beat!  I just decided on a location and am working with destinationweddings.com to finalize the group agreement with the resort we selected.  My head is spinning thinking about all the details that have to go into it, and the fact that it is so far away!  It is exciting to hear that someone else shares in my feelings!  I'm sure we will need to keep in touch and be each other's support system, as I am new to this site and the whole wedding planning process in general.
