Hi Girls ,

 

I've researched the forum and couldn't find any info on these.  We are not doing a typical OOT Bag. Instead of out of town items, we are doing a more of a thank you welcome bag.


So we decided that all the guys (among other things) will get a hat with Jamaica on it, and for girls I wanted to get sarongs (beach wraps).  The only problem is that I am unable to find any in the stores or malls.  I found one store but they were at $20 CAD per one.  Having to buy 20, it's a bit much $ to spend.

 

Does anyone know a place in either Southern Ontario, Buffalo or Grove City PA where I could get them a bit cheaper.  I know I got them before in FL for a cheap, but that's a bit too far to drive from Toronto :)

 

The ones I found on the web are pricey too.  I'm hoping not to spend more then $5-$10 a piece.

I'm not sure about your travel plans, but if you haven't booked your flights yet I'd suggest going a day early and buying them in Jamaica. Not only will they be more authentic, but they will be a quarter of the price and you'll have much more variety to choose from. I personally think shopping in foreign markets is way more interesting than shopping in Canada :)

 

In Jamaica most resorts will arrange a taxi or driver to take you to a gated shopping area. The gates are meant to keep the local touts to a minimum so I recommend staying in there. You will have ample sarongs to choose from.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
