Barcelo Bavaro Palace~HELP!!!

Hi all! It's been a while! My fiance and I are off to Punta Cana next week to check things out and hopefully settle on an affirmative date and location. We are still between BBP, Paradsius Palma Real, and PPC. I really haven't seen much chat about BBP. Does anyone have anything to share (opinions) specifically on Barcelo Bavaro Palace as a choice? We are also looking for pictures of a wedding from BBP if anyone has any? Thanks! AND, we will be sure to share all we find out when we come back.

Actually, Karen and I stopped at Liberty Travel yesterday to get some info and she thought all the choices you had were good ones. I know it doesn't help you narrow it down much, but seems like the ones on the list are good.

Have you checked the review on Reviews of vacations, hotels, resorts, vacation and travel packages - TripAdvisor or Debbie's Dominican Republic Travel Pages - 1,000's of Resort Reviews, Tour, Scuba and Wedding Information? Also do a search for the resort name and the word "wedding" at Webshots - Photo Sharing, Free Wallpaper and Free Screensavers. I found lots of wedding pics from my resort that way.

Are you meeting with the wedding planner when you do your site visit (aka vacation lol) next week at BBP? He/ She should be able to show you pics, show you ceremony sites on the property....you might even see a wedding. The Debbies dominican travel review page does have some good reviews up for BBP.

There is a forum on that Debbie's page with a lot of good info as well. Since I am a forum junkie, I joined. There is a section on the board for wedding stuff too.

The BBP wc sent me an email last night pics of their site. I'm so looking forward to our vacation and figuring out where it's going to take place. I can't wait to see DR!!!! Hi I stayed at the Barcelo Punta Cana. I saw a wedding their. It was nice and private reception area was nice. I have some pics from our resort including wedding area. I have also been looking for pics of the Palace and can't find anything. tip..make sure your in the newly renovated section.
