Can you tell me the location of the beach gazebo on the resort?  Trying to prepare my guests before we leave next week!

The one piece of advice that I can give you is to make sure that you bring every email with you when you meet with your WC, especially those that have price quotes.

On the day of my wedding, the WC had me instruct all of my guests to meet her in the lobby at a specific time & then she walked everyone to our ceremony location.

Your guests won't miss the beach gazebo. If they meet in the lobby and are standing in the lobby,  facing the beach, they would walk towards the left of the resort & they will run right into your ceremony location. Any guests staying in Junior Suites will be closer to the beach gazebo, than those guests staying on the other side of the resort (near the Plantation restaurant).

You ladies are so helpful. I am totally following half of you now! Us ROR Brides have to stick together!

Thanks for the info about the Bon Fire's only bad thing with our trip is that we are Sunday to Sunday so we only have out last night to enjoy it... although that could be a terrific farewell

So I have a bit of a strange question for past ROR brides! What's the sun situation like at the beach gazebo location at 1pm?

My eyes are super sensitive to the sun so I need to wear sunglasses when I'm outside.

I really don't want to wear them during the ceremony but I may not be able to see my FI without them lol.

Do you know if the gazebo provides any shade at all?

Hello ROR brides,

I am getting married June 1, 2012 at 3pm at the beach gazebo. I am in a bit of stress mode as we a re figuring budgets and trying to find answers to the many questions we have. Does anyone have answers to the following:

1. With over 50 guests do you HAVE to do the upgraded wedding?

2. We want a private reception and currently we are having it on the ballroom terrace, does anyone have pictures of this location?

3.Did anyone bring their own decor?

4. DId you have to add alot of flowers for decor?

5. DId you have a microphone for the ceremony?

For now this is all I can remember..(for tonight).

Any info would help as we are trying to finalize our cinematographer and make he budget work.

Thanks in advance.

Just a heads up. I was planning on just heading down to the beach party after dinner instead of doing a reception and I was informed that they have moved the beach party to Monday nights now. :(

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
